Yaniv is one of the most original, out-of-the-box thinkers and innovators currently in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology. This is evident from his ground-breaking studies over the past several years.
Include (but not limited to) DNA Sudoku, a technological leap that can make genetic screening ever-cheaper, as well as sparking the recent discussion on genetic privacy by showing that identities of so-called "anonymized" participants in genetic studies are in fact compromised (see http://www.nature.com/news/privacy-protections-the-genome-hacker-1.12940).
Yaniv is a man of many talents, first and foremost is making things that seem imaginary into a reality.

Seems like a good candidate, but don't clearly understand the innovation. Perhaps he can reapply next year with crisper details on his innovation with cybersecurity.
